Job Description
In this role, you will be the responsible person for creating and ensuring reviews of the project test approach are in line with GPB test strategy. GPB = Growth Playbook is the central Warehouse program for the company to ensure future supply chain for the group.
You are also responsible for driving omni-test approach establishment and signing with automation vendors.
Responsible for overall test planning (all test phases) with automation vendors and all impacted product teams within the company. This involves creating and communicating test plans, defining test tools and processes for the project, monitoring the progress of all involved product teams, etc.
And at least you are responsible for test capacity estimation together with the department.
Implementation phase:
- Overall responsible for driving all testing in the project, mainly connected to warehouse implementation (including 3rd party automation) and cross-product test phases
- Responsible for defining the test organization and leading test coordinators
- Responsible for test status reporting to project management
- Responsible for monitoring and managing test execution phases (all) and acting when the project deviates from test plan. Secure that established processes for test execution and defect management are followed, ensure issues and blockers are managed in an efficient manner, and prioritize efforts were required.
- Supporting WRT (Warehouse Readiness test) lead with planning and preparation of on-site testing together with local people in the warehouse
- Deliver test exit report for the project
- Effort: 100% from March/April until March 2026, with the assumption that the new resource steps into ongoing test activities for the first rollout scope.
Qualifications
- Project manager qualities, i.e. Leadership qualities
- Previous experience as Test Lead in warehouse implementation projects
- Strong planning and structuring skills, also connected to overall project planning
- Can drive discussions and strategy/plan alignments with automation vendors
- Takes full ownership of driving test forward and removing impediments ("doer" mentality)
- Communication skills, verbally and in writing
- Strong coordination skills
- Knowledge and/or experience from warehouse automation implementations
Meritorious knowledge:
- Knowledge about Jira and Qmetry (Agile planning/implementation and test management tools)
- Previous experience from Omni (retail and online) warehouse implementations
- Knowledge about SAP EWM Software Testing
- Knowledge about SAP ECC and OMS Software Testing
