AdressCustomer develops a complete new vehicle architecture with all new components. There is a request to verify the IVI system in vehicle and in rigg logging, testing and if needed flash new SW into the Infotainment Head Unit or potentially other components in the system.
Responsibilities
- What you'll do
As a Software Tester within Infotainment department, you will be part of an agile cross functional development team that has end-to-end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification and validation.
You will:
- Do test analysis together with your team.
- Create and document both manual and automated test procedures.
- Plan, execute tests, analyze results and report issues and anomalies during the entire software development lifecycle.
- Continuously perform regression testing whenever there are new changes to the code.
- Manage test cars and test environments to ensure system under test.
- Collaborate with your team as well as other teams and stakeholders.
- Be part of Volvo Cars test community and collaborate with other testers.
- Assuring knowledge of and visualize overall software quality.
Skills
Must have
- Knowledge and experience
We are looking for someone with a M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice.
- Several years' experience of Software Test, preferably within automotive
- Well familiar with testing methodologies such as exploratory testing, test analysis
- Proven skills in test automation, using Robot framework, Python or similar language
- Experience of troubleshooting methodology
- Driver's license (B-level) is mandatory
- Clear in communication both oral and written
- Previous experience agile ways of working
- Meritorious
