Across Vattenfall it’s key to proactively identify, assess and manage risks. As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will work in an international team with close business interaction to support risk culture capabilities and drive risk insight through data and analytics.
For our offices in Stockholm, Hamburg or Amsterdam, Group Risk Management is looking for the right person to fill the position as Senior Risk Analyst.
Your role / what will you do?
As part of the Enterprise-wide Risk Management process, you are involved in maintenance of risk data and support in risk reporting. This includes in particular:
Identification, coordination and adaptation of data model for the risk inventory;
Maintenance of the risk inventory and associated processes in close coordination with; the business and staff functions;
Participation in risk quantification and aggregation;
Provision of reports and data analysis;
Ensure risk system continuous maintenance and improvement.

Your profile / who are you?
High social competence, in particular, good communication and team skills as well as the ability to work independently;
Distinct analytical and structured thinking;
Customer-oriented and self-confident appearance;
Affinity to IT and structuring data;
Ability to communicate complex content in an easily understandable way.
Next to this you bring:
University degree (data management, economics, risk management or similar);
Understanding the functioning of energy and financial markets is an advantage;
At least 7 years of practical experience in Enterprise Risk Management;
Good understanding of methodologies and models for risk management;
Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerBI and database applications;
Programming skills are an advantage (e.g. MatLab, Python, VBA, SQL);
Understanding of energy economic relationships is an advantage;
Fluent in English.
