In this position, the SDR partners closely with field sales to drive sales opportunities with both existing and potential new customers. SDRs accomplish this objective through a variety of strategies such as cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, conference calls, virtual meetings, onsite meetings and referrals.
This position will focus on a customer territory in the Nordics and therefore it is preferred that candidates be fluent in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Swedish in addition to English.
What You'll Do
- Partners closely with field sales to develop ongoing engagement strategy with assigned customer and prospect accounts to drive revenue goals
- Provides baseline research and intelligence within target accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information
- Prospects into target accounts via cold calling, networking, email, e-marketing, campaigns, and social outreach
- Qualifies leads and contacts based upon specifically defined criteria to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipeline
- Maintains active engagement with existing customers & non-customers to increase interest in additional Workiva solutions
- Maintains good recordkeeping and documentation in Salesforce and CRM systems
- Drives attendance to various events (webinar, conferences, etc.), and provide post-event follow up
- Develops and maintains a current understanding of Workiva's solutions and competitive product/ market knowledge
- Meets or exceeds quarterly monthly or quarterly goals and metrics
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience in a similar role - preferably in lead generation, Sales Development or sales prospecting
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in English required - additional fluency in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously
- Ability to maintain a high level of activity, and effectively manage competing priorities
- Capable of learning, developing, and integrating skills in an online training environment
- Experience with CRM tools - ideally Salesforce
- Proven success in meeting sales goals and metrics
Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
- Up to 10% travel for customer or team events
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely
