About the Role
As a Product Developer, you are responsible for developing new and existing products to meet consumer and customer needs, business, and brand needs, ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency and competitiveness. We as a team translate consumer needs to product functions and further to product design parameters/technical solutions.
This role is part of our Feminine Product Development Team, focused on Feminine Care Products. This includes global product ranges in strong brands such as Libresse, Saba, Nosotras, Nana etc. with our focus on premium Feminine Care solutions for both reusable and disposable products.

What you will do
Main Tasks
- Manage the development of new and existing products in innovation projects, as a sub-project leader or project member in cross functional project teams
- Your work will involve regular consumer contact and the position will cover tasks in early idea generation to production and launch.
- Have many external contacts, such as material- and machine suppliers and test institutes.
- Participate in test runs and validations in factory and on pilot machines.
- Provide technical support to brand building and execute activities for claim substantiation.
- Lead and/or participate in R&D enabling projects/activities to improve state of readiness for future innovation
What you need
- M.Sc. or University degree within a technical field, preferably Material or Industrial Design, Chemistry, Textile, Mechanical or equivalent within relevant practice
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within product development, product life cycle management or similar relevant experience
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to travel as the function requires visits to factories and suppliers both in and outside Europe. You are expected to travel 30-60 days per year.
- Experience from project management is beneficial.
- Experience from using CAD, modelling and simulation tools in product development is beneficial
Furthermore, to be successful in this role, we believe you are someone who enjoys working in teams as well as independently. You are open minded and have a problem-solving approach. You should have a passion for product development and interest in business and marketing aspects of the development, as well as a strong technical interest.
We also believe other valuable skills for this position are your ability to be analytical, proactive, collaborative and driven. The role requires you to take on a holistic view and relate well to different cultures and build good relations on all levels. And additionally, good communication and presentation skills will make the job easier as you will have many stakeholders across the business that you will interact with.
