We are now looking for a Head of Commercial Management & Excellence for our Small Business customer segment that will lead and design our services into the future. Head of Commercial Management & Excellence is a pivotal role within our new Small Enterprise organization, responsible for driving the financial performance and operational efficiency within the business unit. This position involves comprehensive oversight of financial measuring and targeting, including profit and loss (P&L) management, sales steering, and offering management.
The role demands a strategic thinker with business acumen who can balance financial objectives with operational excellence to enhance overall business performance. You will plan and execute on a long-term commercial strategies that is in line with goals, go-to-market and the need of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Developing long-term commercial strategies
  • Commercial offering management: Working with offering management and analysis to ensure that both existing & future product offerings are aligned with market demands, customer needs and contribute to overall profitability.
  • Budgeting & Price Management: Manage external sales budget, drive standard & offer specific pricing for all main offerings sold by the unit
  • Financial management and analysis: Lead the financial management of the business unit, including the development and oversight of P&L statements, analyze financial data, forecast and Revenue Management.
  • Distribution Strategy: Set, steer & evolve the most effective and efficient sales and distribution channel strategy for our products and services to ensure profitability
  • Cross-Organisation Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment of Commercial strategies
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership and direction to the Commercial Management and operational team. Foster a culture of excellence, business acumen, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Is this you?
To be successful in this position, we are looking for an experienced leader with proven experience in Commercial Management, with excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive change and implement strategies effectively. It's important to have a deep understanding of sales dynamics and offering management to be able to take our services to the next level.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Commercial Management and operational excellence.
  • Strong and proven financial acumen with experience in managing P&L.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • If you have experience from the Telecom industry, we see this as a plus.
