Would you like to work with implementing and developing micro segmentation with NSX-T, in one of the biggest VMware platforms in the Nordics? We are now looking for two  VMware Network Engineers to build a world class segmentation setup, with NSX-T and VRNi. We envision we will hire both a lead/senior engineer and a junior engineer with a possibility to evolve in the role.

We are providing services to the Bank as a whole, so will have projects with both our business and also our external sourcing partner who operate the platform. We have major security projects coming in that will require segmentation of workloads and visualization of flows.

Join us at the Data & Storage Engineering team, a part of Infrastructure Engineering, where we are committed to delivering a secure and superior cloud platform for our customers. In the role of VMware Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our security efforts, leveraging NSX-T to elevate our security standards to new heights.

We are building a brand new VMware Engineering team, offering a unique chance to influence the team's culture and mindset from the ground up. Your role will involve collaboration with the platform owner and fellow VMware Engineers to modernize and guide the direction of our platform. This includes working with both traditional Virtual Machines on our main platform and engaging with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes and Terraform on our new application platform. Our team, encompassing Automation, Network, and Platform Engineers, will hold the full engineering responsibility for our VMware platform.

What you’ll be doing:

• Participate in our Zero Trust program (Micro segmentation)
• Map applications in VRNi and develop dashboards in VRNi
• Integrate NSX, firewalls and load balancers into our Deployment patterns
• Setup relevant monitoring for NSX and VRNI for our global support partner to utilize

You’ll join a newly created Vmware engineering team You’ll be joining a newly created Vmware engineering, who will shape the future of the platform. The role is based in Gdańsk; Høje Taastrup; Stockholm; Warszawa and we offer hybrid working setup.

You can submit to the “opportunity” described and ideally you have a good understanding of network with protocols, firewalls ad load balancers, but also a keen mindset on automation. Having experience with infrastructure at scale and VMware NSX is expected.
