Join Getinge and strengthen our Product Area Critical Care in Solna as a System Architect. We are now strengthening one of our value creation teams to speed up the system development. The ICU is an evolving area of interoperability with interesting future applications utilizing interconnectivity of systems and the aggregation of data from several medical devices connected to a patient.
As a System Architect at Getinge, you will handle complex interdisciplinary challenges and collaborate with highly skilled colleagues to find innovative solutions. You will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia.
Position Overview:
In this position you will work with continuous development of the clinical functionality of the ventilators and their interoperability with surrounding infrastructure. You will, together with the team, be responsible for and own the whole product development cycle for feature development. The work consists of new development, from concepts and requirements to final product. The team is responsible for interoperability development and maintenance of our existing products within ventilation.
Your primary responsibility as a System Architect is to drive and take part in the system engineering of our products and ensure that they deliver the required system functionality and performance. This includes activities like system design, requirements engineering, and risk management. Strong documentation skills are essential to secure clear scope, right expectations, and formal requirements, to enable efficient collaboration and development. Risk analysis play a crucial role in addressing challenges and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Who are you
To be successful in this role you probably have the following qualities:
- Master of Science in computer science, engineering physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience as a System Architect with focus on designing/developing complex mechatronic systems.
- Have risk analysis expertise, addressing potential challenges, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience of requirement and test management
- Experience in stakeholder management and breaking down user needs.
- Strong documentation skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with product development in a regulated industry, e.g. medical technology or automotive is desirable
- Experience working with cyber security is desirable
- Experience in modularization and handling reusable components is desirable
You probably have an interest in advanced healthcare and our products in intensive care and ventilation and prosper when working with safety-critical systems in advanced healthcare, where functionality and reliability are vital.
