PDU Cloud RAN owns the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering.

This is both a hands-on role and a chance to work more strategically together with product Managers, Program managers, Architects, and Software developers.

What you will do
- Prepare End-to-end Networking and transport design documents, focusing on Cloud RAN deployment configurations and feature interaction.
- Support/Assist in setting up test environments by creating Network design for verification of Cloud RAN applications, including but not limited to CaaS, Infrastructure
- Identify requirements towards CaaS and collaborate with the Strategic Project Manager (SPM), Cloud RAN Applications architects, and CaaS vendors.
- Identify requirements toward Cloud RAN applications to help in the journey of becoming Cloud Native.
- Participate and chip into studies involving CaaS and Transport
- Coordinate with CaaS providers on requirement handling solutions and Deep dive analysis on requirements and solutions.
- Chip in to Transport System Architecture for Cloud RAN solutions including designing a multi-tier network – with central and far edge sites for RAN deployments in both private and public cloud.
- Experience working in Telecom.
- Experience in developing LLD (Low-level design) and end-to-end connectivity design.
- Experience with solution architecture and troubleshooting CaaS, Kubernetes Networking, and Transport.
- Knowledge of Telco 3GPP Standards, Protocols, and Procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and switching architecture (IP, routing, switching, Segment Routing) and related protocols.
- Experience with public and private cloud services providers (i.e., RedHat OCP, Wind River, AWS, GCP, Azure or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in deploying and troubleshooting RAN applications is a bonus.
- A highly adaptable team player who can ramp up quickly on new technologies and accomplish goals in a fast-paced agile environment.
- AWS/Azure/RedHat/Linux/Kubernetes or similar certification is bonus.
