How you will make an impact
We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Logistics Finance Department. For a Student Assistant the weekly working hours range from 15-20 with consideration to your education and we sign contracts per semester (spring, summer and autumn separately).
In this role you will be part of the Finance team for Logistics Sweden and Finland. Arla's Logistics operations covers the transportation of milk from our farmers to the dairies, the handling of finished goods in the warehouse and transportation to the customers. You will support the Finance Business Partners and
Controller in their daily operational work:
- Performance tracking by analyzing and building reports
- Support with month-end close & rolling forecast activities
- Act as Finance sparring partner for business cases and projects
- Drive continuous improvements
- Other ad-hoc tasks
This all to support the business to make sound and data-based decisions.
The preferred starting date is 1st of August. In the onboarding phase you will learn about Arla, our Finance Logistics organization and understand and learn all the details that will help you achieve your goals in the Student Assistant role.
What will make you successful

You are currently following a Bachelor or Master studies in Business and Economics or similar, with at least 2 years of study experience.
Fluent in English is a requirement and Scandinavian proficiency is a recommendation. IT skills - experience with Excel and PowerPoint is preferable - being open to learning new systems is definitely a plus.
As a person you are eager to learn new things and have a genuine interest for numbers, business and people. You enjoy having a good time at work with colleagues while at the same time performing under pressure and in relation to sometimes tight deadlines. Other important qualities for success in the role are proactiveness, analytical skills, structure and drive.
