As (Senior) Legal Counsel for Offshore Transactions at Vestas Northern & Central Europe, you will be a member of a diverse, collaborative team that enables the sale, installation and service of wind turbines in northern and central Europe.
The Position:
You will work with other colleagues to negotiate offshore wind transactions and construct offshore wind farms. This will involve review of and response to tender documents, drafting and negotiation of wind turbine supply agreements and long-term service agreements, and work on procurement- and project-related materials. You also will monitor the work of outside counsel. In the spirit of continuous improvement, you will work with the rest of our legal team to optimize the way we do business, and research and adopt best practices.

The NCE Legal Offshore Transactions team consists of several different nationalities sitting in different offices; and we would like to add a new team member in any of the following offices: Copenhagen (DK), Aarhus (DK), Malmö (SE), Edinburgh (UK), Hamburg (DE), Warsaw (PL), Szczecin (PL), Arnhem (NL).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience as a transactional lawyer (either in an international company or in an international law firm) in the renewables sector, preferably in the area of offshore wind
- Proven experience with FIDIC contracts
- Exemplary drafting skills
- Fluency in spoken and written business and legal English
- Good in handling complex contract structures under high stress
- Good communication skills, particularly with different stakeholders (commercial, technical, management)
