About the Role:
As a Legal Counsel specializing in Data Protection at Ericsson, you´ll play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to data protection regulations and standards. Your primary focus will be on meticulously reviewing records of processing for compliance, conducting thorough assessments, and presenting your findings to our Group Data Protection Officer for evaluation. Additionally, you´ll have the opportunity to contribute to monitoring Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and refining our internal data protection governance framework.
This role is as a consultant via Adecco planned to start within immediate affect and will initially go on for 6 months, for the right candidate there are possibilities for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully compile and assess records of processing activities
- Conduct detailed interviews with business process owners and subject matter experts
- Review DPIAs and other relevant assessments
- Present findings to the Group DPO for evaluation
- Assist in monitoring DSRs and propose improvements to templates and materials
About You:
We´re seeking candidates who possess:
- Over 4 years of practical experience as a Legal Counsel or DPO
- Expertise in data protection matters
- Experience working in multinational environments, particularly within the ICT sector
- Fluent proficiency in English
