SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER
DUNCAN, SC
As a member of the Engineering team, the Senior Industrial Engineer will be responsible for organizing engineering and management objectives for launch readiness, labor optimization objectives, and production responsiveness.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Design process flow and maintain plant layouts in AutoCAD
- Conduct cost reduction process and analysis for continuous improvement; Assure that production line maintenance processes procedures and personnel fully support engineering and management objectives
- Obtain a positive trend on OEE tracking.
- Responsible for assisting with set-up and maintenance of electric and pneumatic tool set-up and calibration and process improvements.
- Preparation and maintenance of Standard Work Instruction (SWI) sheets.
- Small Tool procurement
- Assisting associate team leaders and process technicians in troubleshooting manufacturing problems.
- Maintaining the standard hour system using MOST and /or stopwatch study.
- Assist the Sr. Industrial Engineer and Process Engineer in special projects.
- Preparation of quotes for process standard hour changes, especially for the SA/RFQ process.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary by engineering.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or in a related field of study.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer or in a related occupation.
- Experience must include AutoCAD, Atlas Copco Torque tool, Time study, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and PFMEA
- Clear understanding of modular bill or materials
- Knowledge of how the SA/RFQ system flows
- Skilled in ERP (AS400) and MES system
