Telia Data Insights business has a mission to win in Location Intelligence and go beyond. As a lead offering, Crowd Insights makes use of Telia network based big data and analytics for producing strictly anonymized insights on people flows. This insight turns into customer value by enabling better informed business decisions in many industries. Telia Crowd Insights has already helped our customers improve public transportation, assess the impact of opening new subway lines, analyze events, measure traffic flows and provided insights on retail location's existing and potential clients.
Crowd Insights has been successfully launched across the Nordics and we are currently scaling the business both directly but increasingly also through our partners who use our insights to serve their customers. The opportunities for Location Insights are endless, with plenty of untapped potential in many industries.
We are currently looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to joint our global team and take a strong role in establishing Telia as the leader in Location Insights in the Swedish market. You will join an experienced dynamic team and benefit from Telia Sweden's local presence and can directly influence the direction we develop and grow our business.
The position is part of Data Insights' Global Sales and Business Development team in the commercial unit at Division X, the emerging business division at Telia, nurturing innovation and scaling new business opportunities.
Your next opportunity
Your role will be, together with your sales colleagues, to drive Sales and Business Development in Sweden for the new Location Insights services.
  • Sales and Customer development
    • Identify new customers and lead customer dialogues to close deals
    • Identify and develop new go-to-market partners that can utilize Telia insights for winning in their market
    • Collect and understand the customer requirements to share with the product team
  • Business development
    • Grow our business by expanding the role of Crowd Insights in our customer's and partner's use cases
    • Identify high value use cases and service concepts that fit the customers business needs
    • Identify and build the right business models for new types of Crowd Insights data
  • Act as the Data Insights "evangelist" both externally and internally
  • Tight collaboration with the global Crowd Insights team, sharing best practice, scoping customer deliveries and contributing to product development activities

You have all it takes to succeed in the position if you possess:
  • 8+ years of experience from B2B solution sales ideally in multiple industry verticals - proven track record of reaching sales targets
  • Experience in analytics and data driven business and new business models
  • An understanding of the opportunities - and limitations - that analytics and AI open up
  • Experience in and right attitude for customer insight driven Business Development, from ideas to insight and Business results
  • Experience in how to work with go-to-market partners and jointly win in a market
  • Intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and the ability to solve complex problems that may not always be well-defined.
  • A personality staying positive and enthusiastic also under pressure
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written. Strong storyteller and presenter.

The position is based in Stockholm and requires some travelling, mainly within Sweden.
