We are looking for an experienced product marketeer, who will develop Product Marketing strategies, create marketing plans and execute on the go-to-market plans, in a complex and high paced product category. Your understanding of our end-customers and how to best execute on the Product Marketing strategies will be important keys to our success in the market.
Husqvarna Construction is a world leader in machines and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries. In this role you will mainly be concentrating on the product category Concrete Surfaces & Floors, an area where Husqvarna, after a decade of active expansion has the market's broadest range of machines and tools, and can fulfil the position as the complete partner in surface preparation for our customers.
As a Product Marketing Manager
...you will lead the development of the marketing strategy and the implementation of the annual marketing plan for the assigned product groups and projects. You will be the product-, customer- and sales enablement-expert in the marketing team and base your plans on customer insights.
Your key responsibilities:
- Create the annual marketing plan for your area of responsibility, outlining efficient marketing strategies based on customer needs
- Continually follow up, evaluate and improve the strategies to make sure we drive and increase sales as well as category and product preference
- Create product launch plans and drive their execution, ensuring successful market introduction of new products, within assigned marketing budget
- Work cross-functionally with product management, regional marketing and sales, on the marketing plan and define how to efficiently and successfully take new products to the market
- Drive for increased brand awareness and market growth
- Cooperate closely with the regional sales organizations ensuring that they have the adequate sales and communication tools
- Be responsible for the PR for product launches and promotions
Who are you?
The ideal candidate has several years of marketing experience, from a global company, and preferably from both Sales and Marketing and/or Product management. You have a university degree, or equivalent professional experience, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
You are a results-oriented, analytical self-starter and enjoy cooperating in cross functional teams. You are solution oriented and able to switch between a strategic and an operative mind-set. You have solid business acumen, are customer oriented and able to work under tight timelines.
It's an advantage if you have experience from a nearby industry and product launches within the B2B market and an interest for technical products.
Location
Jonsered, just outside of Gothenburg. Within Husqvarna, we apply a hybrid work model.
