Job Description Summary
Join our team as a Medical Manager, a pivotal role responsible for developing medical workstreams in close collaboration with Nordic business teams. As a key member of the Nordic Leadership Team, you will manage a team of Medical Advisors and Clinical Specialists, ensuring alignment with local and corporate medical standards while contributing to the strategic vision.
This is a full-time field position with a 50% travel requirement, including overnight stays. You can be based in Sweden, Norway, Finland or Denmark.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Implement the Medical Affairs strategy across workstreams, including HCP consulting, education, KOL engagement, evidence generation, scientific exchange, medical services and business support.
  • Work in cooperation with the MDS Nordic Commercial Teams and ensure alignment on segmentation & prioritization of clinical activities.
  • Select, hire, coach, and review associates in the Medical Team, ensuring development and succession plans.
  • Cultivate high morale and collaboration within the Nordic BD MDS Medical Team.
  • Coordinate clinical activities, supporting the business unit with innovative ways
  • Lead all aspects of product and educational training delivery, finding opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop a strategy for advocacy and engagement, establishing and maintaining credible relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
  • Manage local evidence opportunities, gather medical insights, and support global, regional, and local evidence initiatives.
  • Ensure compliant delivery of BD MDS Medical Services, finding opportunities for new service development.

About you:
  • 3+ years leadership experience in creating team spirit, collaboration, and fostering a hard-working team.
  • Certified as a HCP (Nurse or physician) and/or holding a Bachelor's Degree in Scientific Disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Bio-Technology).
  • At least 3 years experience in a commercial role in an acute healthcare environment
  • 5+ years experience in Vascular Access Management, Infection Prevention, or Medical Oncology.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare systems, medical device industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Fluent in English and one Nordic regional language (Swedish, Danish, etc).
