About the positionWe are looking for a forward-thinking Marketing Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, adept at balancing strategic brand development with ambitious conversion goals. This role is critical in shaping and executing marketing strategies that not only elevate brand awareness but also significantly boost user acquisition and retention. The successful candidate will excel in leveraging creative and analytical marketing approaches to directly impact Sleep Cycle's growth objectives.
As our only inhouseMarketing resource, it is important that you can and like to work independently. You also have the ability tomake things happen and get things done.
You will work closely with all our teams and report to our CCO.This role is onsite in our Gothenburg Office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Partnership Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for platform partners (Google, Apple, and Samsung), collaborating on the creation of engaging content and innovative in-app features.
  • Performance Marketing: Coordinate with our marketing agency and creative partners to develop and execute performance marketing strategies that are both efficient and result-oriented.
  • Product Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to market current features and product updates effectively. Play a role in influencing the product roadmap to ensure new features are marketable and aligned with customer needs.
  • Social Media and Influencer Management: Oversee our social media channels and manage relationships with influencers to amplify our brand presence and foster community engagement.
  • Conversion-Centric Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that prioritize conversion optimization across all channels, including in-app, website, and social media platforms.
  • Brand and Performance Marketing Integration: Seamlessly integrate brand messaging with performance marketing tactics to create cohesive narratives that drive user engagement and conversion. Collaborate with our PR team to maximize both earned and paid reach, enhancing Sleep Cycle's visibility with our target audience.Own and ensure tone of voice in all external communication, in collaboration with PR.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform strategy, continuously optimizing campaigns for better performance and higher ROI. Fluent in A/B testing and adapting strategies based on insights and trends.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business goals and customer feedback.
  • Customer Journey Optimization: Map out and understand the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints for optimization to enhance conversion rates and overall user satisfaction.

Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2C marketing, with a strong preference for backgrounds in digital products, tech, and subscription/app-based businesses.
  • Proven track record in social media management, performance marketing and influencer marketing, with a flair for crafting compelling narratives and engaging content.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of forging productive relationships with platform partners, marketing agencies, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
