We are looking for a Category Sourcing Manager to lead our indirect sourcing activities in Marketing & Sales categories like media, creative agencies, marketing intelligence, POS & promotional material, and SOME. You will work in a project mode with colleagues from the central and regional marketing departments within Paulig. You systematically drive efficiency and cost savings and further build on the way-of-working in the area of indirect sourcing. You will be based in either Sweden (Mölndal or Stockholm) or Helsinki, Finland and report to the Head of Indirect Sourcing, and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe - Finland, Belgium, Sweden and Estonia.
About the role
Develop and implement indirect category strategies and plans, together with the stakeholders within Paulig's marketing organization.
Ensure that the products and services are always sourced at best competitive conditions, based on given specifications, at high and stable service level.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Negotiate, implement, and evaluate agreements including price, terms of payment and lead time.
Comprehensive management of supplier relationships, including selection, execution, data management, contracting, risk management, development, and quality & sustainability
Monitor & benchmark market trends and best practices.
About you
To be successful in this role you need 8+ years of marketing sourcing experience in a relevant industry (preferably FMCG) and proven track record of managing a complex indirect sourcing category and driving for synergies and savings. Previous marketing category expertise is highly appreciated, or at the very least, a strong motivation and competencies to quickly grasp it.
University degree in relevant field, such as business, Marketing & communication.
Strong ability to build strategic partnerships, excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, ability to work with continuous improvement, and sustainability mindset.
Strong project management and leaderships skills.
Inspiring, innovative and result oriented approach and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
Fluent in English. Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish is an advantage.
