Would you like to help define the strategy for our ITSM tool and drive the adoption of ITSM and AlOPS capabilities inside Nordea? We are now looking for an Application Manager for our ITSM and Discovery tools (BMC Helix and BMC Discovery/ ADDM) that will be tasked with just that. You will, in close cooperation with the application owner, provider, vendor BMC and internal stakeholders, drive the development of the tools and adoption of the features and capabilities to ensure value realization in relation to the investment that have been made.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Tooling & Integration team in Nordea Technology. We add value by governing the ITSM tools and processes that support the operational layer of our technology standards. As Application Manager you'll play a valuable role in ensuring that our ITSM processes gets the needed tool support and in helping them mature by adopting the capabilities being provided as part of product roadmap while ensuring compliance towards internal and external requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive Nordea's Application processes to identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with external regulations, internal policies and procedures
- Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for BMC Helix and promote its capabilities to the different business units in Nordea. Ensure the adoption of new capabilities in tools and modules across the Technology organization. Govern agreements with external supplier BMC and maintain a close co-operation with the Customer Success Executive to ensure value alignment and realization
- Manage internal stakeholders expectations as the role requires a close co-operation with various internal stakeholders like Application Providers Process Owners, process CoP's (Communities of Practice) and leaders inside Nordea's Technology area
- You'll join a team of highly motivated and experienced process and tool experts keen on delivering value to our internal stakeholders
Tooling & Integration is a team of specialists based out of Denmark, Sweden, and Poland. We work in different value streams – in an agile setup – prioritizing key requirements and deliveries based on our product roadmap. Our team consists of Application owners, providers, specialists and developers. We are working in a hybrid setup, with flexible working conditions. English is the main working language and a focus on self-development and wellbeing is key. Your experience and background:
- Experience with application lifecycle management and a track record of driving the development and adoption of ITSM tools in large IT organisations
- Several years of experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) disciplines and preferably ITIL certified on intermediate level or more
- Experience with Agile tools and ways of working, preferably with SAFe and Jira
- Work experience from the financial sector or in a externally regulated industry will be considered a plus
