Digital Media Specialist
Hello, digital pros! We're in search of a seasoned Digital Media Specialist to join our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in advancing our display advertising. This position is temporary, providing coverage for a parental leave.
I'm Elin Melin Lundström, Head of Digital Sales & Media Performance , and we're assembling a high-caliber team for our brand-new Digital department. If you're someone adept at crafting digital brilliance, especially within the intricate landscape of performance marketing and display advertising, then you're the perfect fit. In your role as our Digital Media Specialist, you'll take the lead in orchestrating and optimizing our display advertising strategies.
The role is a temporary assignment ending 31 dec 2024.
About the Role: Envision yourself as our Digital Media Specialist, a driving force in elevating our display advertising strategy. Bring your top-notch expertise , ideally garnered from an in-house trading desk or media agency. Delve into the details of ad platforms like DV360, and other relevant channels to sculpt precision-targeted campaigns. Your formidable analytical skills will take centre stage, playing a pivotal role in crafting advanced dashboards and conducting thorough analyses of display advertising performance .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work hands-on with both performance and brand campaigns in various display advertising platforms, including Bannerflow , Campaign Manager 360, DV360, Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with the trading desk team to plan and execute campaigns, ensuring precise targeting and efficient budget utilization across display channels.
  • Partner closely with the creative team to formulate hypotheses for tests and implement these experiments within display advertising platforms, generating valuable insights for future strategies.
  • Continuously analyze campaign results and leverage findings to optimize ongoing display activities, focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes.
  • Engage in seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and refine display campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach and maximizing performance.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous development within display advertising, staying abreast of best practices in creative development, data utilization , and automation.
  • Report key learnings from display campaigns to the team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate easy access to campaign results through the creation of dashboards, working collaboratively with teammates to enhance data visibility and interpretation.

Qualifications:
Educational: University degree or other relevant degree .
Performance Marketing Professional: Minimum 3 years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on display advertising.
Ad Platform Expertise: Expertise in using ad platforms for Display advertising, including DV360 and other relevant platforms.
Data Analysis Proficiency:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to create sophisticated dashboards for analyzing display advertising performance utilizing tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.

Results Communication Pro: Demonstrated capability to package and communicate results and insights, adapting the information to the intended audience.
Tracking Proficiency: Solid understanding of tracking methodologies for display advertising platforms and proficiency in implementation.
Digital Expert: Experience in working with Digital Media, especially programmatic display and online video , but preferably also an understanding for other platforms too .
Bonus points if you've spent some time on the adtech /ad-sales side and know how the sausage is made.
E-commerce Experience : Proven track record of working with large ecommerce/retail companies , including the development of automated strategies for optimizing ad platforms and creating automated ad content.
