What you can look forward to as Material Management Officer (Responsibilities):
- Procurement of spare parts/materials, auxiliary and operating materials
- Ensure availability of spare parts for internal workshop and external customers
- Create production plans
- Process individual orders
- Eliminate delivery bottlenecks and monitor delivery reliability
- Dealing with supplier escalations and insolvencies
- Optimize inventory management
- Support change management
- Check and submit lead times for customer inquiries and orders
- Support local process expert (LPE) in implementation of processes
Your Profile as Material Management Officer:
- Previous experience as a Material Management Officer or in a related field (such as customer care or purchasing support, logistics specialist)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel
- Very good knowledge of English. (knowledge of German is advantage, not must-have)
- Expertise in material procurement
- Familiarity with SAP
