Senior Strategic Account Manager Private Europe

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager Private Europe you will provide direction and guidance to ensure best in class Commercial Execution at Strategic Accounts Private in Europe. Define Commercial Strategy and Tactics in collaboration and alignment with the commercial teams (local and regional). Develop Performance and Executional KPI's and tracking systems in alignment with the needs of ESLT and European markets. Further develop competence level of SAM Private Europe with best-in-class trainings focused on soft-skills and product knowledge.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Develop and drive the commercial Strategy for Strategic Cross Border Accounts Private Europe
• Drive commercial development and best-in-class execution of the Strategic Accounts Private Europe business by providing strategic guidance, coaching, and sharing best practices across Europe
• Establish Commercial KPIs, dashboards, account plans and track performance via quarterly reviews
• Provide guidance to countries and the SAM Private community regarding master data quality in SFDC and IRIS and monitor accordingly
• Develop Performance and Executional KPI's in alignment with the commercial teams (local and regional)
• Develop best in class performance tracking tools for Performance and Executional KPI (i.e. SFDC, IRIS)
• Develop training curriculum for SAM Private Europe community (soft-skill and product knowledge) based on ASK results in alignment with Regional/International Training functions
• Develop Strategic messaging for non-medical decision makers at Strategic Accounts Private Europe in alignment with key internal functions (marketing, HEOR, market access, etc.)
• Report to Head of Strategic Accounts Europe and closely collaborate with the European Strategic Account teams (Public & Private), European commercial team and other key members of the International/Global Strategic Accounts Private team
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree; Desirable: MBA or Equivalent
Languages: Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
Experience & Competencies:
• 8+ years of experience in strategic commercial customer facing positions in the healthcare industry (medical devices, pharmaceutical or consumer health care product industries)
• Proven expertise in commercial strategy, cross-country management, and leadership roles
• Strong expertise in working in a matrix structure (including senior stakeholder management) and in leading cross functional teams in a dynamic, international environment
• Innovative thinking, challenging status quo and being able to manage ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop skills of others in sales, project management and technical/clinical areas
Strong communicating skills, both verbally and in written
The location is flexible within Europe.
