Welcome to the Data risk team in Group operational risk! We are now looking for new colleagues to work with us in helping Nordea to ensure that the risks associated data are managed and controlled throughout the data lifecycle.
Our team adds value with our constructive challenge and support for our colleagues in the First Line of Defence when building well controlled and designed solutions in a fast-changing environment. As a Senior Risk Expert you will play a valuable role in supporting and positively influencing the First Line of Defence to manage Data risks.
What you'll be doing:
- Leveraging your knowledge and experience of Data risks, controls to constructively challenge and proactively support our colleagues in the First Line of Defence;
- Leading and contributing to oversight activities over Data risk;
- Acting as a trusted partner to the First Line of Defence as they enhance their risk management approach and frameworks;
- Monitoring risk indicators and risk mitigation progress;
- Providing reports to senior management on the highest risks, and topical or thematic risks.
You will join a talented team driving high quality and risk focused oversight activities for data risks.

Your experience and background:
- Experience working with operational risk management and/or with auditing procedures within the banking or financial services industry;
- An understanding of data management, or you have worked with other data management related topics;
- You have a track record of delivering projects with minimal supervision;
- You are familiar with the regulatory expectations for data management in banking industry;
- You have professional level spoken and written English;
- Flexible, open-minded and a strong cultural awareness.
