Summary of the profile:
Experienced and energetic scientist with a strong relevant scientific background
Proven experience in polymer processing e.g., in the development of extrusion processes, injection molding processes, and so forth.
Proven experience in leading technical teams and driving a product’s technical maturity through all product development phases.
A natural will and interest to fundamentally understand physico-chemical phenomena and the ability to capture this understanding in physical-mathematical models. Experience with modelling and mathematical simulation would be regarded valuable, however is not a strict prerequisite.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry would be meritorious however, it is not a prerequisite.
Professional proficiency in English (oral and in writing)
Excellent documentation skills
Academic background in:
- Material science
- Polymer science
- Chemical engineering
- Pharmacy
- Other relevant discipline
at a PhD level complemented with at least 3 years of industrial or post-doc experience, or a MSc level complemented with at least 6 years of highly relevant experience.
