AstraZenecaOne Campus & SHE,Sustainabilityis looking for a Regional CircularityLead to foster a sustainability and circularity focused culture within our organization. This role will ensure that the AstraZeneca upholds and works towards finding new, innovative, and economically ways to stay sustainable across the whole value chain. This is your chance to influence and advance the sustainability strategy within the organization and make a difference.

What you´ll do

As the Regional Circularity Lead, you will be part of an experienced Sustainability team withinSweden Operations,OneCampus & SHE. In this role, you will engage with manufacturing sites and supporting functions, and work strategically to move Campus Södertälje and Stockholm toward a more sustainable future. 

The Regional Circularity Lead will work with our sustainabilitystrategy with focus on circular solution, circular economy and driving change. The workconsists of leading diverse initiatives and projects to reduce our carbon footprint anduse of natural resources, as well as strengthen the capabilitiesto meet future needs.

To be effective in this role you will need a good understanding on change management and sustainability across the whole value chain in a manufacturingcompany.The role will also include understandingupcomingsustainability directives and how the organization need to adapt to meet these requirements.

Your role will involve external and internal cross functional contacts when engaging inimportant sustainability areas. You will prepare presentation and present for different stakeholders both at regional and global level. 

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant scientific or engineering field, and/or appropriate qualifications in the sustainability area.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the environmental and sustainability space as well as in project, change and people management.

  • Passion and interest in environmental sustainability.

  • Ability to engage and inspire changein a cross functional environment.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.
