Our Development Quality team ensures the delivery of safe, effective and compliant medicines to patients participating in global clinical studies. We set standards and apply scientific and Quality expertise to our exciting drug pharmaceutical development portfolio, and help maintain our reputation and license to operate. We play an important part in the commercialisation of new medicines, working closely with our colleagues in Operations.
Your role
As our Quality Project Manager you drive improvement projects involving all aspects of the Quality Management system, Quality process and IT systems to reach Operative and Strategic goals. You'll be driving both functional- and cross-functional quality improvement projects. As part of the project, coordinate a group of system specialists and super-users at all sites globally in Operation Quality PT&D, PhSci and DevQ. You ensure Roles and Responsibilities are identified and enable continuous improvements over time. The QPM leads and participates continual analyses to identify improvements in Quality Management Systems, Quality processes and related systems.
Further you'll lead or contribute to the planning, execution and coordination improvement to meet user needs. In close cooperation with the Business Process Owner, the QPM will continuously support and drive assignments to simplify and improve processes and systems. Continuously communicating and providing training and giving advice in relevant areas are also a big part of the role. You operate with the Quality Management System Governance Board, Business Process Owner and key partners in Operation Quality PT&D, PhSci and DevQ to develop and implement organisational objectives. Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the area of responsibilities are key to success.
Essentials
- Appropriate scientific degree preferable with experience (3-5 years) of working within Quality Improvement in a regulated business, preferably within a R&D organisation
- Experience with LeanSix Sigma and preferably with a certification, like Master Black Belt or Black Belt
- Excellent knowledge of Project Management
- Good knowledge of Quality Management system, process management
- Good knowledge of IT systems supporting processes and Quality Management Systems
- Analytical and data-driven attitude with great teamwork and networking skills
- Engagement, communication and partner management skills, including presentation and influencing skills
- Experience in virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
- Demonstrates very good understanding of change management and practical application
- A good communicator with experience in interacting effectively across interfaces
- Demonstrates independent judgement and uses risk management, skilled at facilitation
- Capable of making decisions, acting courageously and communicating with conviction and inspiration
- Builds good relationships both internally and with external suppliers or service providers
- Demonstrate drive and energy in the role to make a difference and demonstrates a high degree of personal credibility
