Program Manager Radio Testbed

About this opportunity
At the Mixed Signal and Modules (MSM), a department within Technology Platform Modules (TPM) in PEU Radio, we are now looking for a technical development leader for a modularity-based testbed program that is used in

• Early algorithm development of digital radio functionality such as linearization (Digital Pre Distortion) etc with relevant hardware (power amplifiers, data converters, etc)
• Early software implementation
• Radio ASIC validation
• Analog block validation

The testbed is an early radio product development support tool for testing different software, algorithms and hardware building blocks with each other.
You will lead a distributed team of skilled engineers from several fields in their work to provide an up-to-date modular test bed environment for Radio Unit hardware and software development covering the Ericsson Radio System product portfolio. Doing this you will be a driver for technology evolution of the modular test bed with the vital new way of working it brings. As a Leader you will guide, mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will cultivate a creative and learning environment.
It is important that you are on board to the modularity principle in product development since it is the basis of this program.
What you will do

• You will develop the program plan baseline: define scope of included tasks and sub projects, secure critical resources and plans and supervise all activities, i.e. drive the execution
• Maintain regular communication with key stakeholder on project status, ensure timely decisions achieved to fulfill project need
• Simplify processes, methods and tools with creative ideas

You will bring

• An upbeat approach, enjoying to network and enable others, both project members and stakeholders.
• Experience from - or strong curiosity and willingness to learn- work in a global setting.
• Interpersonal abilities to use with your teams and stakeholders – not least to share findings and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Deliberation, persuasion and influencing skills.
• Ability to internalize and formulate strategies and concepts, keeping the longer perspective as a goal while completing short term tactics.

Must-have qualifications:

• Bachelor's required - Master's preferred (EE, EP, telecom or similar) Minimum shown ability in technical product development
• Min 2 years of sophisticated team/project/program management.
• Radio or similar combined HW and SW product development experience

Position is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We apply 50% hybrid working conditions.
