Job Description
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading the charge in solving ambiguous problems and driving clarity within our projects. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, capable of guiding teams and influencing outcomes without formal authority. Your adept problem-solving abilities and technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping the direction of our products and technologies. Moreover, your ability to navigate uncertainty with a focus on vision and alignment will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
You can expect to:

• Take ownership of complex and ambiguous problems, driving clarity and actionable solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment towards common goals.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, leveraging technical expertise to overcome challenges and drive innovation.
• Contribute to architectural design and technical strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of our systems.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive project success.

In order for you to thrive in this role, we believe that you have:

• Proven experience as a Staff/Principal Engineer or similar role, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment without formal authority.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and either technical depth or breadth across a range of technologies.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating a focus on vision and alignment to guide decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
