Our mission at EU CR CX Solutions and Release is to:
Increase the reach of Cloud RAN by ensuring flexible business solutions that embrace the Cloud ecosystem and are profitable for Ericsson.
We are a senior team who put the e2e customer experience in focus for EU Cloud RAN. We develop solutions that are service-ready, including key metrics for dimensioning, guidelines for integrating selected cloud infra and HW, and blueprints for supported configurations (DRAN, CRAN, enterprise). We provide customers the documentation to deploy and manage our solutions, and we drive and validate quality targets to ensure the high-quality release of Cloud RAN solutions.
We forge the path towards continuous release and deployment, ensuring Cloud RAN embraces Cloud Native standard processes.
We are currently looking for seasoned Network Solution Architect to join our growing team. If you are passionate about designing robust and scalable network solutions and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.
This is a highly visible and pro-active role requiring excellent inter-personal skills. It will demand constant interaction with customers and stakeholders to understand the business issues, and to be able to find opportunities for evolving our solutions, thereby crafting new business. Hence, it also demands good networking capabilities.
You will report to Manager, Solution Validation.
What you will do
- Lead solution analysis and design, and act as the technical lead for Networking, Sync and Cloud Infra.
- Identify and manage solution requirements and expectations, starting from initial discussions through to project handover stages.
- Provide hands-on assistance to teams involved in Solutions design, integration and validation including setting up the environment.
- Participate in workshops/Studies, provide solution and technical expertise and deliver solution presentations.
- Identify the impacts and risks as a result of the solution introduction, and recommendations on solution evolution.
- Interact with Product Mangers, domain SAs, and other Service Delivery organizations from conceptualization, Design, integration, validation, deployment and support perspective.
- Share and transfer knowledge, and mentor the other team members.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Solution scope definition, design, and implementation in a large and complex system.
- Degree in one of these: Computer, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in developing HLD/LLD (High/Low-level design) and end-to-end solution connectivity design.
- Very good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, such as Cloud native, NFVI and SDI.
- Experience in troubleshooting CaaS, Kubernetes Networking, and Transport in a multi-product Solution environment.
- Knowledge of Telco 3GPP Standards, Protocols, and Procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and switching architecture (IP, routing, switching, Segment Routing) and related protocols.
- Experience with public and private cloud services providers (i.e., RedHat OCP, Wind River, GCP, Azure or similar) preferably their installation/configuration.
- Experience in Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS) will be a bonus.
- Ability to create test plans to demonstrate system architecture and performance.
- Certifications in any of these areas will be a bonus:
Network vendor certifications (example: JNCIP, JNCIS, JNCIE or similar in Data Center/Security domain).
AWS/Azure/RedHat/Linux/Kubernetes or similar certification.
- A highly adaptable teammate who can ramp up quickly on new technologies and accomplish goals in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
