We have an exciting opportunity in a recently established Business Development team to boost business processes and Operational Excellence. One might call it a Process Owner, or a Development Manager; What we are looking for is someone who can grasp the strategic level as well as dig into details & data to build process framework & drive change - ensuring quality and compliance as well.
Business Operations and Core Solutions (BOCS) organization in Business Area Private is handling many back-office operations for Private such as underwriting and support, core system development, credit control, risk and We can be seen as an "engine room," which keeps our Private. The unit currently consist of six Nordic functions: Medical Underwriting, Core Solutions, Quality and Support, Credit Control, IAM and Business Development with altogether more than 140 persons, working to deliver value to our internal and external customers.
About the role
You will be part of a Nordic Business Development team in BOCS with the main responsibility of building frameworks for business processes. You will create Nordic and local cross-Business Unit (BU) governance to find and share best practices, shaping the future vision and ensuring quality and compliance. The key is to maintain local flexibility in the processes while gaining an overview and forming Nordic capabilities. Therefore, you will work closely with local stakeholders. Your main responsibilities as the Nordic Process Development Manager include:
- Gaining and sharing an overview of processes
- Finding best practices to harmonize processes cross-BU locally
- Collaboration cross Business Areas and units
- Guidelines for Process Development and roadmap
- Ensuring quality & compliance (f. ex. control mechanisms)
- Creating a future vision of data architecture for the process area
- Creating Nordic capabilities to enable automatization
- Coordination of process related system/tools development with IT

The Business Development team was recently established with a mission to "make the daily work - for our colleagues & customers - at IF easy and efficient. We foster Operational Excellence -mindset and help our colleagues deliver their responsibilities in the most optimal way."
We are a small team of experts delivering value by running projects, driving improvements, and ensuring BOCS has a strong framework & governance related to business processes. Since we are a fairly new team, you have an opportunity to shape your own role and influence the team's ways of working. You will have an individual responsibility, working as an expert among other colleagues in similar roles across Nordics.

Who are you?
You have a genuine interest and passion for process mapping, continuous improvement, and business development management. The opportunity to make an impact, take over an individual responsibility area to lead and drive change motivates you. You have strong experience of process and/or project management and achieving results in a complex organizational and technical set-up. Having a good understanding of IT development projects is essential.
You are result-oriented, comfortable with diverse business development needs, adept at stakeholder and change management, and possess strong analytical skills and structured way of working. With communication skills, you can build trust and engage others, ensuring fruitful collaboration. A high sense of responsibility defines you, and you can be trusted to deliver, also being able to spark enthusiasm in others.
You also have:
- Knowledge of Data & Analysis
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Experience from Agile ways of working
- Experience from finance and insurance sector is an advantage
- Fluent in one of the Nordic languages, excellent English skills (written and oral).
- BBA or university degree
