We are looking for a Global Growth Initiatives Manager to Virgin Music Group, who will be a pivotal driver in the company's global expansion and revenue growth. This role encompasses diverse responsibilities, including the creation of department presentations, informational materials, and coaching guidelines for business development managers. Moreover, the individual spearheads the development of a standardized business development workflow, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence dashboards and business development trackers. Beyond this, the role emphasizes active collaboration with regional and local teams to understand their unique needs, adapting processes accordingly and fostering knowledge exchange. This dynamic position combines strategic thinking, adaptability, and a keen understanding of market trends to contribute to the company's Global Growth endeavors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Presentation and Documentation:
Develop and maintain department presentations to communicate growth strategies and initiatives effectively.
Create informative materials, reports, and documents for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare coaching guidelines and resources to assist business development managers in making informed strategic decisions.
Standardized Business Development Workflow:
Lead the development of a seamless and standardized business development workflow.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and document key steps, processes, and best practices.
Ensure the workflow aligns with departmental and corporate objectives and is easily replicable across different regions.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with the insights and analytics team to gather data and insights for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the development team to support the creation and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards and business development trackers.
Business Expansion Support:
Assist in identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
Contribute to the execution of Growth Initiatives, including the exploration of new revenue streams within the existing business.
Supporting Regional and Local Teams for Tailored Growth:
Collaborate actively with regional and local teams to understand their unique needs and challenges.
Provide tailored support to regional and local teams in implementing growth strategies that align with their specific market conditions.
Work to adapt and refine processes to better suit local requirements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as a liaison between regional/local teams and the Global Growth strategy department, facilitating the integration of valuable feedback.
Encourage knowledge sharing and best practice exchange among different regions to enhance collective learning and growth strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in business development and deep understanding of the financial aspect of the dealmaking process.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in creating presentations and informational materials.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools and dashboards.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, additional experience in client relations preferred.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Deep knowledge of the global music industry and willingness to learn about local market trends.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
This role is located in Stockholm, Sweden and reports to Head of Global Growth Strategy.
