Junior Financial Accountant

Edisen’s finance function has delivered several strategic projects in the past years, including the implementation of the NetSuite ERP. Several other exciting projects are coming up as we seek to further improve financial and operational processes across the group. As a key member of the finance team, you will partner with the financial management to help deliver these projects.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Junior Financial Accountant. The chosen candidate will be responsible for processing daily accounting activities withing Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable. He/she will assist in month-end and year-end close including financial audits and work closely with the Production team to support them in their needs from a finance perspective.

The role is full-time, located at the company's premises on Skeppsbron and reports to the Head of Accounting. At Edisen we use a hybrid work model where our employees can work remotely part-time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage customer and supplier invoices for in all of our EMEA subsidiaries,
• Assist in accounting processes in our US subsidiaries,
• Account payables and account receivables data entry, vendor payment processing as well as account receivables collections,
• Daily bank reconciliations,
• Liaise with the Production team to support their needs from a finance perspective,
• Assist with financial and tax audits,
• Assist in reconciliation and reporting of VAT and taxes, including periodic compilation,
• Administration and payment processing of expenses.
• Assist with accruals and reconciliations at month-end and year-end close in timely and accurate manner,
• Team up with other members of the finance team to manage accounting projects,
• Liaise with financial management to improve financial procedures,

• Other duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED 

• Experience from similar role is required, and experience from a role in an international organization is an advantage,
• A passion for working with people in a dynamic environment,
• Ability to meet, or exceed, deadlines through planning,
• Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office,
• Experience with the NetSuite ERP, or similar cloud based ERPs is an advantage.
