Responsibilities
• Act as a specialist and coordinator within health and safety• Support managers and drive health and safety initiatives• Develop and revise internal management system• Collaborate with unions and authorities• Compile and deliver statistics to management and board• Ensure compliance with laws and agreements• Lead the Occupational Health and Safety Committee• Manage incident reporting process• Coordinate and conduct health and safety surveys• Lead EHS group discussions including safety, fire, and environment
Requirements
• A few years of experience in similar roles• Preferably an academic background, e.g. occupational health engineer• Experience in retail is a plus• Prior leadership experience and coordination abilities are also desirable• Strong organizational and communication skills• Service-oriented and able to work closely with the business
