About this opportunity
Welcome to Nordea Hypotek AB – a fully owned subsidiary of Nordea Bank Abp. We are the Product Responsible Unit (PRU) for products, processes and applications within mortgages in Sweden. We are also the competence center for questions in this area. The majority of our customers are private individuals, but we also provide mortgages to municipalities, tenant owned associations, property management companies and agriculture. Product related development takes place within the agile Home Journey hub, in which we are contributing.
What you will be doing:
- Drive the implementation of Nordea’s climate and environmental strategy with regards to Swedish mortgages
- Monitor and analyze impact of external market and regulatory developments as well as development of Nordea’s mortgage business with regards to ESG
- Initiate development of sustainable mortgage products and offerings in collaboration with colleagues across Personal Banking
- Be responsible for defining and delivering on requirements for data and reporting in the ESG area
- Collaborate in joint ESG initiatives with other units in Nordea and cooperate with external partners in the ESG area
- Represent own unit with high degree of professionalism in order to maintain a strong reputation among both external and internal contacts
The role is based in Stockholm. We work mainly from the office, but some degree of hybrid working is possible.

To succeed in this role, you have:
- Experience in business development and/or project management
- Experience working with mortgage loans and/ or ESG initiatives (preferred but not required)
- The ability to navigate the combination of business interests, customer value, regulatory requirements and doing what is right
- Strong analytical skills, as well as interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Academic degree in relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish
- Self-drive with an ambition to make a difference
