Join us at SPP, a leader in sustainable development within the financial industry. As part of our dedication to making a difference, we're on an exciting digital transformation journey. This is your opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission by leveraging your expertise in Data Engineering to facilitate our move towards a more modern, efficient data handling and analysis environment.
About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the heart of SPP's transformation, playing a crucial role in the new data warehousing solution using Snowflake and DBT. Your work will directly contribute to creating a clear, accessible data landscape, enabling effective decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.
You will join a cross-functional team with a solution architect, data warehouse developer, Data Engineer, and analytics professionals from various business units. While the team currently focuses on maintaining our existing data systems, your role will be pivotal as a key team member driving the transition to our new platform. Collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for the future of our data infrastructure will be your guiding principles.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, specifically in Snowflake and DBT.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Git, and scripting languages for data manipulation and automation. Your ability to set up environments, implement use cases collaboratively, and contribute to the core platform's development will be key.
- Interpersonal Skills: A team-oriented mindset, drive, excellent coordination abilities, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. We value individuals who can work effectively within a diverse team, sharing knowledge and supporting collective goals.
- Language Requirements: The working language is English, and it's important that you can speak English fluently and understand Swedish well since the corporate language is Swedish.
