Join our team at the WGLS location in the Netherlands as a Customs Compliance Coordinator where you will play a crucial role iin managing day-to-day customs import and export operations in a dynamic environment. If you thrive on ensuring meticulous documentation and flawless operations, this role is for you. 

 

On a typical day, you are working closely with external import brokers and external export agents, you will review and audit declarations and export documents and analyse the data for business improvements.

Your Key Activities are:

  • Provide timely support to external customs brokers for clearance requests and ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting. 

  • Manage the material matric (parts database).

  • Responsible for (In) Direct Representations / Power of Attorneys.

  • Handle brokerage instructions forms and develop work instructions to streamline processes. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales, purchasing and returns teams.

  • Coordinate exit of goods messages and review duty and tax payments in third countries (DDP).

  • Liaise and interact with internal teams on sales and VAT matters.

  • Communicate and interact with external stakeholders like customer agents. 

  • Generate and maintain Brokerage and Inquiry reports.

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • You have the level of “Customs Declarant” / “Licensed Broker”

  • Basic knowledge on tariff classification, origin ruling and customs valuation.

  • Import and export regulation.

  • Systems knowledge (SAP, Customs Software, Microsoft Office, Reports such as Power BI)

  • Microsoft office (Excel, Word)

  • Have at least 3 years of experience
