Position at VIPRE Security Group
In this role you will be a valued member of our Channel Sales team and will have the responsibility of managing and developing our Cyber Security partner accounts. You can be based out of our office either in Copenhagen, Denmark or Stockholm, Sweden. The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for recruiting new key partners and developing the current partner channel, mainly in the Swedish market by driving new business sales. This will enable you to cross and upsell and identify new business opportunities. The Partner Account Manager will attract, drive growth, enable and deepen relationships with our partners in the assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an assigned part of the VIPRE Partner channel, working with MSPs and resellers and engaging with their customers.
- Responsible for devising repeatable processes with the goal to bring incremental revenue from channel partners.
- Lead the development of sales and technical skills to equip partners to reach their goals with VIPRE.
- Drive partner marketing programs and creating pricing structures and incentives tailored to each partner and the VIPRE solution.
- Work close with our Marketing team to drive initiatives and enable growth.
- Drive a programmatic pipeline generation campaign across existing account base and new logo accounts.
- Meet required KPIs related to new business sales.
- Deliver results against monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives. Provide and maintain a rolling forecast, and track sales activity in Salesforce.com.
- Ensure partners are able to uncover customer demand and create opportunity and build mindshare with the partners.
- Understand and assess partner's business objectives, strategies and practices.
- Lead the business planning and quarterly review process.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all VIPRE products.
- Stay current with developments in the security industry. This may include gathering competitive information on products and sharing this information with the product and marketing teams.
- Drive and manage net new opportunities for independent channel resell.
- Conduct and organize demos on VIPRE products.
- Forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments.
- Maintain accurate data entry in the CRM system on daily basis.
- Assist with account and partner issues as needed.
Experience and Skills
- 5+ year's sales experience of which at least 2 years of managing reseller accounts and driving sales opportunities.
- Skilled with operating at business owner/vendor manager decision making level.
- Excellent business partnering and negotiating skills.
- Proven successful experience with business development and pipeline activity.
- Strong negotiation, prospecting, and closing skills.
- Experience in IT sales is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong phone presence.
- Salesforce CRM experience is preferred.
- Some technical understanding of IT security.
- Comfortable with Excel and other MS office tools.
- SaaS Software knowledge strongly desired.
- Bachelor's degree desired.
