A Finance Business Partner/Business Controller plays a crucial role in understanding and translating business needs into financial aspects. This position involves ensuring that the Units supported are both efficient and aligned with the overall business objectives as well as drives improvements and efficiencies together with the Unit teams.
You will work closely with the Units management team, HR business partner and CPS Finance team. For the right applicant a team lead position would be a possibility.
The role includes but are not limited to:
- Driving the strategy to execution process through target setting, planning, OPEX and CAPEX frameworks, execution, and communication.
- Lead and facilitate financial target and planning processes. Support in closing procedures.
- Develop and manage the units plans and guide the unit for most efficient resources' utilization.
- Lead and facilitate management reporting.
- Conduct financial performance analysis and guide the unit regarding corrective actions.
- Provide financial insights to the units' leaders to aid in decision-making, to increase efficiency and reach set goals.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including plan vs. actual comparisons and forecasting.
- Evaluate vendor contracts, ensuring they are cost-effective and in compliance with company policies.
- Owns and secures compliance to the economic model and facilitates management reporting and profitability views.
- Track People-related expenses, review cost allocations, and provide financial analysis to optimize expenditure.
- Conduct outlook and gap analysis and facilitate gap mitigation work, as well as conduct competitor analysis and utilize benchmark findings to drive improvements.
- Drive and communicate S2E process.
- Support M&A projects and asset valuation (e.g. impairment analysis).

Your personal competencies:
- Business acumen with a deep understanding of business needs, main drivers and how to add additional value to the business.

- Excellent communication skills with an ability to challenge and secure alignment of stakeholders. Can easily convey advanced analyses translated into actionable insights. Able to speak about figures/financials to non-finance people.
- Highly analytical with a talent for understanding data, connecting the dots between different data sets, and identifying insights and drawing conclusions.
- Improvement oriented: proactive, give actionable advice, end-to-end view.
- Future oriented: create accountability, set clear direction, create transparency, avoid risks.
- Accurate: conceptual thinker, to the point, process oriented, well organized.
Your experience:
- You have a university degree such as Bachelor or MBA in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent.
- You have minimum 3-5 years' experience from a Business/Finance Controller or similar role.
- You have a good understanding of financial ERP & BI systems.
- You are strong in the MS Office suite with emphasis on Excel.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
