Role Overview
Responsible for the FP&A function, the Business Controller is driving all relevant activities including the budgeting & forecasting, internal and external reporting, various ad-hoc analyses. Through translating business insights into actionable strategies the Business Controller plays a key role in strengthening and optimizing all parts of Readly. Hence, the ideal candidate must be flexible between performing high-level strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Drive budgeting and forecasting activities together with relevant stakeholders within Readly
- Monthly reporting to Management and the Board of Directors
- Quarterly and annual external reporting
- Produce internal decision material on an ad hoc basis
- Continuously work with cross-functional improvements and harmonisation with stakeholders across the organisation
Profile Overview
We're looking for a well-rounded, highly impactful and collaborative team player, who brings a proven track record of success within a digital environment.
- You will have derived your experience from a similar role in transactional and/or digital businesses. Ideally, you will have had exposure to a subscription business or similar business model and/or high transaction volume business with significant elements of online acquisition and marketing.
- Thorough experience with preparing high quality and impactful visual presentations, advanced excel skills and an understanding of accounting principles.
- Preferably, you also bring some experience of working in a rapid growth Tech company and will therefore be suited to the pace, ambiguity and accountability.
- Academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or other relevant field
- Fluent in Swedish and English
