Are you ready to embark on a wild adventure in the world of sales? We're looking for a talented and motivated Area Sales Manager to join our entrepreneurial Brand and sales team. Your mission? To sell, activate, build brands, recruit new customers and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
By using your sales experience and your skills within communication and negotiations, you will make a difference when you are out and visit the potential customers on their arena. You build and strengthen relationships by showing your deep knowledge of the industry in general and of wine and spirits in particular. If you already have a network within the restaurant and bar segment, the results will come even faster.
You will have a clear target of number of contacts and sales visits. Success comes when you close the deals and feel the sweetness of hitting your sales target. When the brand owner and the customers are satisfied and the sales figures are in line with budget – we will celebrate success.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Sales of all products within the portfolio of R&F and Nordic Beverage Company
- Negotiate, sign and follow up on sales agreements
- Sales driven activities, such as tastings, visibility, competitions etc. in order to increase sales and create brand awareness
- Budget responsibility
- Identify and contact new potential customers and develop existing customers
- Internal reports and follow-up
- Update and develop customers with plans, volume targets, activities etc. in CRM-system
What you will experience
Retail & Food Services AB is a leading distributor and wholesaler of Travel Retail products in Northern Europe, to a number of large Vendors within mainly the transport sector, but also to airports and other Travel Retail distributors including our own Travel Retail shops.
Nordic Beverage Company is a newly acquired subsidiary that are brand agents and distributors of several brands within the beverage segment on the Swedish Domestic market, including both international external brands and private labels. We are now on a journey where we develop the Domestic market as a good complement to our large sales volumes within Travel Retail.

Who are you?
As Area Sales Manager, you will need to be independent and self-driven. We also believe you enjoy working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, since your office is where the customers are. Your level of drive lies far above average, and your problem-solving skills enables you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions. We also believe you like to plan and administrate your daily work in a professional manner and are flexible and not afraid of travelling or working flexible hours.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience from restaurant and bar industry
- Previous experience from different sales roles
- Deep knowledge of beverage in general, Wine & Spirits in particular is requested
- Advanced knowledge of the Office product Suit, especially Power Point & Excel
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

The job requires frequent travelling within Sweden, sometimes Europe, and from time to time work during weekends.
