Key Responsibilities:
As an Accountant at Rebtel you will be part of an ambitious and friendly team of 6 people. You will take active part in day-to-day and periodic finance tasks, performing tasks such as bookkeeping, monthly closings, reconciliations and salaries.
Main tasks
Responsibility and ownership of the day-to-day activities of accounting and Accounts Payable (i.e. handling invoices, payments and continuous bookkeeping)
Managing month-end closing activities and ensure timely reporting
Reconciliation of ledger accounts
Booking and payment of salaries
Submit reports, VAT and tax declarations to tax authorities
Assist in producing annual reports
Contact person for Audits
Various ad hoc projects and tasks

To be a successful candidate you have
University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
1-2 years of relevant bookkeeping and accounting experience
Experience and understanding of the overall tasks within accounting as well as experience from working in Excel/Google Sheets
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Attention to detail, thoroughness and high level of accountability
Strong English both oral and written
