As an Account Executive at Planhat , you are responsible for the entire sales process, from identifying and attracting potential customers to closing and adding net new business. You'll use your strategic selling abilities to hunt and educate prospects on the value of Planhat, continually seeking opportunities to make our customers as strong and successful as possible.
This role is primarily remote, as Planhat is (and always has been) a remote-first company. As we already have Planhatters in Sweden and would like to increase our presence there to best serve our customers - preferred candidate's location for this role is Stockholm.
What you would do at Planhat
- Build strong relationships with CS, Sales, and Revenue Ops leaders in your assigned market.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy with an emphasis on new business.
- Build a pipeline through account-based marketing, prospecting, networking, effective outbound campaigns, and other initiatives you deem fit for your assigned market.
- Drive revenue by adding new logos while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Run complex sales processes, resulting in sales targets being exceeded.
- Report on pipeline and sales results.
- Experiment with new processes to scale across Sales.
Who we're looking for
- Minimum 1-3 years experience working as an Account Executive, ideally at a B2B SaaS company. Today, most of our Account Executives have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS. BDR & SDR experience is highly valued!
- Full sales cycle management, from prospecting to closing.
- Previous experience selling a complex, powerful SaaS product.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and grit in changing conditions.
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with senior-level leaders at SaaS companies.
- Desire to be part of building a company that's at its Series A stage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, native to another Nordic language (e.g., Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian).
