Purpose (Sum up the position using one or two sentences)
The SCP Director manages the Purchasing activities of his/her entity and supervises a team of buyers. He/She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for improving the efficiency of the Supply Chain and for ensuring that all vendors and partners are meeting their performance objectives. The SCP Director will also ensure that the Supply Chain is cost-effective, reliable, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Safety

- Ensure safety by the implementation of actions from defined roadmap.

Drive change and improvements
- Change management
- Conduct competitive market intelligence to keep abreast of both economic and technological developments
- Design and implement new processes and procedures to improve Supply Chain and purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve product availability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of materials and products.
Supply Chain Management
- Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies in alignment with organizational objectives with focus on internal supply and Platinum accounts
- Monitor and analyze Supply Chain metrics, such as inventory levels, cost, delivery times, and quality, to identify areas of improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Purchasing Management
- Implement the purchasing strategies defined by the Group and guarantee their performance
- Establish the strategy of the purchasing and supplier panels
- Coordinate the execution and deployment of your team's action plans
- Develop supplier risk mapping and define mitigation plan
- Contribute to negotiations to select the best supplier
- Manage contracts and their follow-up and contribute to the mitigation of claims
- Monitor the performance of suppliers and vendors and take corrective action when necessary.

- Mastery of financial knowledge related to procurement
