AdressThe team consists of about a dozen employees that work across three different areas: Technology, Research, and Statistics. In the Technology team (also known as BI & Data engineering team), you will work on different databases located in AWS cloud environment, manage/operate daily data ETL pipeline and report distributions.
The team works with different BI and reporting solutions, primarily SAP Business Objects and PowerBI. You will also use data analytics programming languages such as SQL and Python, and version control tool like Git in this role.
The team provides analysis and support for several business areas, for example, Listing Capital Markets, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Commodities. ESR analysts have frequent contact with all levels of management, customers, and business support functions, providing exposure to many different domains and excellent learning and advancement opportunities.
This is a part-time position in Stockholm, Sweden, where you will be expected to work two full days per week (or four half days) and full time over the summer.
We expect you to have:
- Study a program in engineering or similar field (technology, finance) and have 1-3 years of study behind you
- Proficiency in some programming or scripting languages, e.g., SQL or Python
- Have superb attention to detail and strong analytical skills, as you will be working with massive data sets
- A curiosity about Business Intelligence, trading, and capital markets
It will be excellent if you also have:
- Knowledge of capital markets and financial products
- Some working experience with reporting, Business Intelligence, databases etc.
