Join Getinge and strengthen our product area Critical Care in Solna as a Software Test Automation Engineer. We are now expanding one of our development teams to speed up software development. Position Overview
As a Software Test Automation Engineer at Getinge, you will make sure that we build an efficient and qualitative auto-test environment and strategy. In your role you will work to secure swift software development and verification of new products and features to healthcare professionals. Together with colleagues you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges and collaborate with highly skilled people to find innovative solutions. Through this you will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia.
Your role
Your primary responsibility is to set the strategy and design, implement, and maintain our automated test framework and scripts for future product launches in the anesthesia product family. You will implement the framework, write automated test scripts and take part in developing test tools, validating and ensuring that there is traceability. You will also analyze requirements, set test plans and execute tests to ensure the quality of our products. In this role, you will get an excellent overview of how all parts and systems in the machines work, connected with knowledge of how the products are used. At Getinge we follow the standards IEC62304 - Medical device software and IEC81001-5-1 Health software and health IT systems safety, effectiveness and security, in our development processes.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you probably have the following qualities:
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of experience within Test Automation and verification.
- Experience of setting up Test Automation frameworks for embedded systems and graphical user interfaces.
- Great knowledge in C++/Python/ Squish
- Knowledge of Linux
- An interest in CI/CD
- Comfortable making critical technical decisions, thriving in high-expectation environments.
- Familiarity with product development in the medical technology field is desirable.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
