JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent Leading/mentoring & co-ordination of multiple Software Projects across multifunctional teams
- Processes Great soft skills & critical decision making - Coordinate all SW actions in Matrix Organization
- Responsible for challenging effort estimations/RFQ & Prerequisite identification for Project Kick-off
- Lead actions across software teams and drive clarification with Technical Project Manager
- Certification in project management like PMP / Bullet Proof Management would be an advantage
- Responsible for QCD & effective risk/stakeholder management
- Exposure to automotive standards & system protocols like KWP2000, UDS, ISO14229/30, ISO 15765, ISO 26262
- Effective quality control techniques & Root Cause analysis techniques ( like Ishikawa Fishbone Diagram ,Pareto Charts,FMEA,5 Whys,FTA & 8D)
- Contribute to delivering a robust governance structure, align with the contractual commitments with suppliers, and encourage appropriate innovation and development
- To help define, manage, and assist with the supplier management governance processes and procedures
- Provide day-to-day financial reporting for suppliers
- Accountable for identifying and coordinating the execution of appropriate corrective actions if the operational performance is unsatisfactory
- To lead input into and influence the development of the overall sourcing strategy,
- Manage contract renegotiation and change request processes whilst ensuring ongoing compliance with the existing contract,
- Build collaborative working relationships with the suppliers account management teams,
- Forecast levels of demand for services and products,
- Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality,
- Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided,
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets/KPI‘s are achieved or exceeded
- Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy
- Keep up to date with trends and innovations, regulation and new technology to impact the business.
JOB PROFILE:
- Overall experience 8-14 years in automotive Software Development and Minimum 3 years in Project management
- Experience with Automotive Project initiation process, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, prioritization and closure
- Working Experience with ADAS / ABS projects and commercial vehicle SW projects would be an advantage
- Experience with Budget tracking, on time delivery with uncompromising quality. V Model/Agile/SAFe/Kanban
- Knowledge of versatile PM (like MPP) & ALM tools will be an advantage
- Working Knowledge of HW(microntrollers/debuggers) and SW tools (compilers, stacks) used across automotive
- Knowledge of ASPICE / FuSA & Automotive CyberSecurity is an added advantage
- Contract management and relationship management
- An understanding of technology sourcing
- Good stakeholder management skills
- An ability to prioritise a demanding workload
- Good negotiation skill
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- The ability to make crucial decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
