Within the Swiss exchange, Index IT is responsible for calculating all our indices such as "SMI" with high precision. We are an international team with more than 10 nationalities and are expanding to become an global index provider. Our index platform is of great importance to SIX as it is tightly coupled with the exchange: neither can run without the other.
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be at the heart of the Operations team by playing the SAFe role of Team Coach, owning priorities and ensuring operational stability.
What You Will Do
• Oversee and direct the day-to-day activities
• Be the SAFe Team Coach for the Operations team
• Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into operational solutions to achieve the business objectives
• Communicating, presenting, and iterating operational views and supporting material with development teams, management, and business stakeholders
• Ensure Operational stability of applications & infrastructure
What You Bring
• Proven 10+ year experience as a DevOps engineer with fluency in at least two programming languages & Linux
• Proven 5+ year experience supporting business-critical production systems
• Proven 3+ year experience in leadership & SAFe framework
• A solid understanding of the Index sector or Financial markets/trading experience, including related business processes
• Excellent communications in English, presentation and inter-personal skills
