As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Security Operations Centre (SOC) infrastructure and platform . When joining Tietoevry Tech Services as a Security Engineer:
You will be a part of the Security engineering team, working closely with our experienced and senior colleagues where you will focus on:
• SOC Development: be part of the development and enhancement of our Security Operations Center (SOC) infrastructure using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana).
• Network Security Monitoring: Maintain , implement and develop solutions for monitoring networks to identify security threats using Zeek and Suricata .
• Threat Detection & Incident Response : Implement robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Log Management & Analysis : Configure and manage log collection, aggregation, and analysis pipelines within the Elastic Stack.
• SIEM /SOAR : M aintain and update the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution using Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Security Data Enrichment : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enrich security data sources and integrate threat intelligence feeds.
• Security Automation : Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline SOC processes.
• Documentation & Training : Document SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks. Train SOC analysts on tool usage and best practices.
The position does not involve extensive travel, but some travel activities are expected.
Who we are looking for
• You have been working as a n engineer or technical administrator for a few years, managing different platforms and infrastructures
• You have a solid technical knowledge and a desire to constantly improve you r skills
• You are fluent in Swedish and are a Swedish citizen.
It is meritorious if you also have:
• Experience working as a Security Engineer
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms and other security solutions
• Familiarity with LINUX and networking
• Scripting skills ( Ansible, Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence feeds , log monitoring and security data enrichment .
