Sales Success - North Team Lead
Take your next career step at ABB E-mobility with a global team that is helping our customers electrify mobility by delivering a seamless, flexible, efficient charging infrastructure.Adapts and implements sales support strategy for a designated area in accordance with the EMRE support strategy. Ensures technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversees estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB E-mobility processes and targets. Leads, develops, and coaches the Sales Support team.
Your responsibilities
  • Creates, implements, and reviews sales support and customer service strategy.
  • Defines key targets and ensures their achievement by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions for customer support and satisfaction.
  • Oversees the support provided and proposal preparation by assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation including support on product selection, identifying opportunity for solution selling, clarifying compliance with specification with regards to features, performance and standards of offered scope.
  • Ensures the most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer conditions.
  • Identifies the most effective approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) for better serving the customer in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Oversees the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, and pricing) in each offer.
  • Supports bid/no bid analyses and decisions.
  • Participates in project risk review processes.
  • Ensures the required technical support and clarifications are provided to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers.
  • Focuses on achievement of solutions selling approach (HW, software, Services), requested on-time response, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Ensures that orders are handed over to order handling/customer delivery excellence to facilitate accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Builds long-term and sustainable customer relationships by prioritizing their work as per defined criteria to ensure consistent customer satisfaction - in particular in line with KAM approach.
  • Ensures effectiveness and efficiency by collecting from stakeholders and making available knowhow/materials/templates/guidelines etc on general sales support environment and trains sales teams, channels and partners on the use of the material.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains effective customer support processes by participating in development projects (e.g., tools, competencies, resources).
  • Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

Your background
  • Multiple years of experience in sales support structures of industrial goods.
  • Leadership experience in complex multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Advanced degree in engineering, technical background
  • Experience in the E-Mobility space.
  • Direct exposure to or direct experience in sales of industrial goods (SW and HW).
  • Team Leadership completes the profile.
