Job Description

Our Company's Animal Health Livestock Intelligence department is a market leader in animal identification and monitoring. Our solutions provide farmers with real-time, actionable insights to help them manage herd health, well-being and productivity. As a pioneer in animal health intelligence, we’re introducing new solutions that support transparency and traceability from farm to fork, enabling a sustainable and secure food supply. 

 

Livestock Intelligence is a new business unit within Our Company and was formed following the acquisition of several market-leading technology companies. As well as growing the core technology business, the unit is forging strong relationships with Our Company's biopharma teams to bring unique value propositions to new and existing customer segments across the food supply chain.

 

This is a newly created role and is responsible for growing our existing monitoring and identification business to introducing new and already existing technologies & solutions to the Swedish market. 

 

You will work in a team with the support of marketing and report to Commercial Manager in Sweden. You will visit farmers and attend in activities to show and demonstrate our products such as SenseHub and Sorting Gate in the monitoring business and readers and ear tags for the ID business in the Swedish market.

 

We work with a network of trusted partners in Sweden where you will collaborate with our partners to expand our sales.

 

Togetherwith the team, youwillinvestigate and collaboratewith market activities and productdevelopment to reach a broader market.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Expand our sales for Livestock ID and Monitoring in the Swedish market
  • Support customers in the usage and installment of their new and existing systems.
  • To build and create a network with stakeholders to find a place for our products to be a part of new buildings constructions for Livestock
  • Visit the customers, on farms, to see what the right solution would be for the customer.
  • Follow up installments, functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Train customers how to use our system and how they benefit at most from it.

 

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • A degree in animal science and/or agriculture science
  • Several years of experience in livestock commercial operations
  • Deep understanding of the livestock industry, market trends, and business environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • A forward-thinking, commercial mindset
  • Ability to identify, develop and deploy innovations in collaboration with external partners
  • Works well independently and with others
  • Analytic and problem solving skills
  • Able to drive results in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Strong customer focus and ability to understand and anticipate customer needs
  • Resilient and self-motivated 
  • Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
